Pizza House in Pittsfield

My favorite place to have good food with my family. I love the Greek salad and their pizza is the best!

Service was awful at best. Staff yelling at one another and customers as soon as it got busy. As someone whose been in food service a long time i was completely appalled at the lack of professionalism. And 30 mins after ordering had to go up to the counter to ask if we could at least get our beverages while still waiting for two pizzas and a grinder and asked how long on the food and was brushed off. 5 mins just to locate the ticket to see what the drinks were because it wasnt anywhere near where it belonged. Never again

Absolutely the best little restaurant around great menu choices amazing food!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, but this was somewhat discouraged by the immense drama heard in the background. The waitress was in the back talking about her person life when I up front waiting to pay for my food. A few minutes later she realized and came up front to help. The place does not feel like a pizzeria, as they dont have readily available slices. If you want immediate pizza, look elsewhere or order ahead of time. Overall, they were very friendly and the food was decent.

True Greek Pizza baked in the pan, not on the floor of the oven. When you eat it piping hot there rather than to go, you will note the crispy outer crust and soft melted body typical of this style. The crispy toasted grinders, on sesame rolls, are also outstanding, and they also offer Greek-influenced pasta dishes, house-made meatballs, fresh salads and grilled/fried items. A piece of Baklava to finish things off is the equivalent of a fortune-cookie ending to a great meal.

Everyone was very pleasant. My order was fixed in two sections, one for me to eat there and the other to take to the hospital. The steak sub was fabulous as was the roll. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best pizza in Pittsfield hands down

It was busy as expected ,smart to be open on New Years Eve. But they should hire more help ! They took forever !!!!😣 The pizza was pretty good , although I have had better. From there even! It was too thick and doughy New York Style pizzA..Get your act together!!!🎇

Best pizza and food ever ladies there are very polite regardless how busy they get and they do there best to have your food done when u get there

Remains the Best Pizza ever. Same as it was since I was going there as a kid with the family in the '70s. I go there to this day when I'm back home, Berkshires.

Always great food. I've never had bad food from The Tyler St Pizza House. And I've been eating there for 30yrs. I can vividly remember my first plate of spaghetti and meatballs at 6 yrs old. If you like pizza, this is the place. A classic is what I got. Sausage, mushrooms, onion and green peppers. Fantastic!!!

Best food in town, but longest wait in town as well!

Pizza was just about perfect. Needed a little bit more sausage but otherwise really good. Crust was nice and thin and not greasy!!!

There dinners are ok nothing to brag about could be better and had there pizza the sauce is not as sweet as it used to be back in the day and there crust is more firm and plan.

Amazing food all around. Kind of an old school vibe to the interior but pretty standard to Pizza Houses. The pizzas are amazing and delicious no matter the toppings you decide upon. The grinders are old school and large and rolls toasted, fries and onion rings are super crunchy and crispy. The other American typical fast foods are just as delicious. Great place to get pizzas to go if you call orders in or bring your crew to chill and eat in house. Love it been going since I was a child..

The pizza here is good if you like a thicker crust, sauce is flavorful and the toppings were reasonable. Overall, a solid, basic pizza place with friendly staff and a family atmosphere.

Have been eating at the pizza house for over 20 years and will continue to go there. Great food, great service always quick and the dining room always reminds me of when i went there when i was a kid. No one has stained glass on the ceiling lights anymore but i think its beautiful and brings back good memories. Highly recommend Pizza house. Very affordable also.

Good quality cheese. Sauce has a little zest, but not too spicy. Dough is maybe 1/2inch thick, tot thin NY style at all, nor is it advertised that way. Cut in squares. Called ahead for pick up. Service was fast and friendly. A good solid pizza.

I'd give it 5 stars, but you can't lean back in your chair. She's very adamant about that. The pizza is fantastic. Really laid back and friendly.

The. Best. Pizza. in all of Pittsfield. Tyler Street has changed a lot since 2000.....but the good ol' Pizza House is still holding it down serving the best pizza and sandwiches in the city. Don't you guys ever change.....please.
